Deceased Name: Martha J. DeCillis
Mrs. Martha Joan DeCillis, 71, died April 17, 1997, in Newport News, Va.
She was a native of Ohio and had been a resident of North Port for 13 years. Mrs. DeCillis was a homemaker. She was a former member of AWVS and American Red Cross Volunteer. She was a member of San Pedro Roman Catholic Church in North Port, and of the D.A.R. Myakka Chapter. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mabel Blue and Carol Kusse.
Survivors include her husband, Capt. Thomas D. DeCillis, USPHS, Ret., formerly of Passaic, N.J.; her daughter, Debra D. Tharp of Langley AFB, Va.; her son, Dr. David M. DeCillis of Lancaster, S.C.; and seven grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on April 19, 1997, in St. Edmonds Roman Catholic Church, Rehoboth, Del., by Father Phillip Scheeky. Burial will follow in Prince George Cemetery, Dagsboro, Del.
Memorial donations may be made to the North Port Library, North Port, Fla. 34287.
