Charles Wilburn Burdette was born on June 15, 1938 in Anderson County, South Carolina to the late Floyd Thomas and Lillie Mae Turpin Burdette; worked for many years at Orr Lyons Mill and member of Mercy Christian Outreach.
Charles was survived by his wife of 55 years, two sons and three grandchildren. Charles was preceded in death by a half-brother, Olin Burdette. Charles passed away at his residence, 2137 Five Forks Road, Pendleton, Anderson County, South Carolina on November 7, 2012.
Services were held at McDougald Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday November 10,2012 at 2 P.M with interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
