Mrs. Ecil Jones, 50, of Ward, died yesterday in a local hospital. Surviving are her husband Grover C. Jones; one son, Hillard Milam of Ward; two daughters, Mrs. Lena Nelson and Alberta Milam both of Ward; five sisters, Mrs. Lottie Milam, Mrs. Maize Cochran, and Mrs. Willie Green, all of Ward, Mrs. Anna King of Red House, Mrs. Edna Lamb, of Coolville, Ohio; four brothers, Woodrow Asbury of Ward, Benjamin of Hugheston, Kerry of Elk Two Mile, Lawrence of Bancroft; her father, Hiram Asbury of Hizer Creek. The body will remain at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lena Nelson of Ward, pending completion of funeral arrangements.

Jones, Mrs. Ecil, 50, of Ward, died Tuesday at a Charleston hospital. Service will be at the Ward Community Church at 2 p.m. tomorrow. Rev. J. E. Legg will officiate and burial will be in the Ward Cemetery.
