Christine Erin Coleman, 26, of Scottsville, died Sunday, March 23, 2014, as the result of an automobile accident. She was born on November 23, 1987, in Charlottesville, a daughter of Robert W. Coleman Jr. and Barbara (Wheeler) Coleman. Christine worked as a Medical Billing Specialist. She had formerly attended Scottsville Baptist Church as well as Effort Baptist Church. She had a passion for life and for people. She never met a stranger and could light up a room with her beautiful smile. She had a very special place for her children in her heart and she loved them both dearly. In addition to her parents of Scottsville, she is survived by two children, Ronald Blaine Houchens III, and Amelia Louise Barker; a sister, Jamie Leigh Coleman of Zephyr Cove, Nevada; a host of extended family; and many friends throughout the community. A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m., Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Thacker Brothers Scottsville Funeral Home by the Reverend James C. Jetton. A private burial will be held in the Scottsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Wednesday evening, March 26, 2014, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Christine's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
