Ervin L. Ehret, 89, passed away peacefully at RiverStone Hospice House on Feb. 3, 2014. He was born on Aug. 22, 1924, at the family farm 10 miles south of Plevna, Mont., to Gottlieb and Barbara (Ochner) Ehret. He grew up on the farm. Erv served in WWII after returning he work on several farms in Fallon County.

On Dec. 27, 1952, Ervin married Mirth Defferding.

Ervin was a salesman for various companies. He also worked as a maintenance man later in life when road sales got to be too much.

After retirement Ervin repaired lawnmowers and snow blowers, teaching his son to do the same. Ervin was well-liked by most people he meet, especially the congregation at Peace Lutheran Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers brother's: Ralph Delmar Ehret>
Robert Clarence Ehretl>,
Harold and Morris.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mirth; children, Ervin Richard (Francis), their children Miranda (Andrew) Schmidt, their children Conroy, Billie-Cate and Taylor, Lisa Ehret and daughter Maizy, Kenneth W. Ehret, Donna-Gayl Goldian, her son Jeffrey Karyn Cotton; sisters Gert (Elmo) Martinson, Dee (Richard) Wallenstein; and brothers, Lloyd and Marvin.

A memorial service for Ervin will be held at 11 a.m. March 29, 2014, at Peace Lutheran Church, 1301 Ave D, Billings.

Cremation has taken place.
