Mrs. Mable Ann Cannady Carter, 74, of 120 Southwood Drive, Clinton, NC, died Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Mary Gran Nursing Center. A funeral will be held at 3 P.M., Saturday, March 30, at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton with Pastor Rodney Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Memorial Park in Clinton. Mrs. Carter, born in Sampson County, was the daughter of the late Willie Cannady and Elizabeth Cora Batts Cannady. She worked at Lundy Packing Company for 28 years and was a member of Destiny Outreach. A brother, Carroll Cannady, preceded her in death. She is survived by three children, Ronald A. Carter of Clinton, Anthony Wayne Carter of Roseboro, and Susan Diane Carter Topham of Raleigh; two brothers, Joe Cannady of Clinton and Richard Cannady of Roseboro; four grandchildren, Nancy Lynn Carter of Garland, Aaron Mooty of Knightdale, Jon Mooty of Raleigh, and Marcus Mooty of Dunn, and seven great-grandchildren, Dustin Curtis Carter, Aaron Mooty, Jr., Jaden Mooty, Peyton Mooty, Kailey Mooty, Cayden Mooty, and Ava Mooty.
