Born in Neulag, Gottschee, Austria (now Novi Log, Kočevje, Slovenia) Joseph married his first wife Maria "Mary" Hutter and they had 2 children: Alois "Louis" (b1886) & Maria "Mary" (b1888). According to my Great Grandfather Louis the family went back to Gottschee where his mother died (bef. 1896). After returning to Cleveland the widower Joseph married Maria "Mary" Finkegel-Schneider (b1870 Gottschee) and they had 5 children: Rose b1898, Christiana b1899, Frank Anthony b1901, Marie b1902 & Emilia b1903. - Source: Interviews (1975-2007) of his Grand-daughter Emma Fink by her Grandson, Wm. J. Morrissey.
