Ruby Jonell Douglas Hinton, 53 years old of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at North Oaks Medical Center IN Hammond,Louisana.

She was born on Wednesday, December 7,1960, in Hammond, Louisana, daughter of Horace Benjamin "Bud" Douglas, Jr. and the late Bobbie Nell Whitehead Douglas Faller.

Surviving are daughter, Amber J. Pinion, father, Horace Benjamin "Bud" Douglas, Jr, sister Regina Douglas Bazile (Mervin), and step-sister Rita Tolleson (Robin), and 7 grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by husband, Rodney Hinton, son, Aaron Pinion, and mother, Bobbie Nell Whitehead Douglas Faller, and sister Joy Reams.

Friends will be received Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 6:00pm until 9pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home-Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Visitation will resume on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 8am until funeral service at 11am at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home -Ponchatoula.

Interment will follow in the Ponchatoula Cemetery, Ponchatoula, La.
