Mrs. Sallie Latimer Bennett, 87, died Thursday night at Kennestone Hospital after a long illness.
Services will be at Mayes-Ward Chapel with Rev. George F. Brown officiating. Interment will be in Westview Cemetery, Atlanta.
She was the widow of the late Lemuel E. Bennett. She is survived by two stepdaughters, Mrs. Carey Gentry of Arlington, Va., and Mrs. Rupert Edmonson of San Francisco, Calif.; two nieces, Mrs. J. Fleming Settle of Atlanta and Mrs. John York of Arcadia, Fla.; one nephew, Mansfield Latimer of Rock Hill, S.C. Mayes-Ward Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
