Raymond was born March 5, 1914, and married Dorothy Maria Markham June3, 1940, in Anthony. One daughter, Donna, was born to this union. Raymond farmed many years in the Silver Creek township on the farm where he was born. He and Dorothy lived there until after his death on July 29, 1990. Dorothy continued living there until she moved into Anthony and later to Oklahoma. The house was sold and moved to Anthony Lake in 2000. Dorothy cared for many Harper County folks, during her nursing career.
