Jimmy Lee Hyatt, 59, of Leicester, died Sunday, March 23, 2014, at the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. A native of Buncombe Co., he was a son of the late Daisy Maltry Warren. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Coleman. Mr. Hyatt was an avid fisherman and hunter. He is survived by his wife, Debra Embler Hyatt; daughters Lisa Hyatt Peffer and husband Mayson, and Amanda Nash Kabore and husband Fabrice; son Jimmy Lee Hyatt, Jr. and partner Lindsay Hays; eight grandchildren, Dominique and Jordan Hyatt, Brooks, Nick, Ethan, and Olivia Peffer, and Nicholas and Jason Kabore; sisters Shirley Galloway and husband Michael, and Carolyn Hyatt; and brothers Johnny Hyatt and wife Mary Lou, and Dale Warren and wife Debbie. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Asheville Family Church, with Pastor Rolf Woodard officiating. Interment will follow at Bell United Methodist Church Cemetery.
