Billie Jane Baxter Medley, 79, of Chesterfield, VA died Thursday, February 3, 2000 at the Southside Regional Medical Center in Petersburg, VA. A native of Tipton Oklahoma, she was the daughter of the late Avery Benjamin Baxter and Ethel Jameson Baxter. She was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Ettrick, VA and the Interfaith Adult Day Care inn Petersburg, VA. She also attended the First Baptist Church in Drumright, OK. She is the widow of the late Claude Joel Medley. She is survived by 4 sons, Murl R Medley of Petersburg VA, Earl F. Medley of Las Vegas Nevada, Rex Allen Medley of Oklahoma City OK, and Ronnie Joe Medley of Drumright Oklahoma. To daughters, Rita V Hammock of Tampa, FL and Sandra L Sherrill of Lubbock TX. 7 Grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren and a cherished friend Peggy Nimmo. A graveside service will be conducted Monday, 7 February 2000 at 11:00am in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester VA. The Rev Daniel Rice officiating. Flowers aare welcome or contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association Virginia Affiliate, 2788 Hydraulic Drive, Suite 4, Charlottesville, VA. Arrangements by E.
