Dwight Earl Ford passed away Sunday March 23, 2014 in Tampa Bay area of Florida.

Son of late Glen and Mildred Ford of Heath, OH.

Dwight retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sargent in 1972 after an almost 22 year career.

He then worked for Landmark Corporation in Newark OH until retiring in 1987 to Florida.

He and Peggy enjoyed traveling and visiting with friends and family. He was also known as the local repair man who never sat still and always had a project to utilize his skills in carpentry, electrical and plumbing. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Sanford OH.

Preceded in death by wives Margaret (Livingood) and Peggy Ann, brother Bobbie Ford, daughter Charlene Butler, and several aunts and uncles.

Survived by loving family of Peggy (Pethtel); who he married in 1986.

He grew up in Lebanon Ohio at the Otterbein Home and only in later life reunited with his surviving siblings- Debra Jane Dingledine of Tucson, AZ and Tom Ford of Coolumee, NC. He told everyone how blessed and thankful he was to have married into a family to love and to be loved and supported.

A special thank you for the services and support of Arden Courts and Suncoast Hospice both of Palm Harbor Florida for a peaceful transition of life.

Family will receive friends 10-11 am Thursday at the Tidd Funeral Home & Porter-Tidd Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will follow at 11 am. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery
