Joan was born in Wheeling West Virginia where she attended Mt. De Chantal Academy.
She is survived by her nine children: Jack of Brampton, Ont.; Bill of Kelowna, B.C.; Rick of Toronto, Ont.; Jeff of Sacramento, CA; Marian of Tullahoma, TN; Denny of Newark, DE; Greg of Tampa, FL, Linda of Palm Harbor, FL and Tim of Tampa, FL; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild and sister Rita Adams of Farmington, MI.
Joan was preceded in death by her first husband William of 42 years, second husband George of 22 years, brothers William and Daniel, and sister Rosemarie.
She was a resident of St. Petersburg for 35 years, member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Holy Cross Women's Club and Pinellas Park Art Society. Joan enjoyed painting, dancing and travelling. Her many paintings were displayed and won awards at local art shows.
A memorial Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Friday, March 28 at 1:00 p.m.
Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Clearwater, FL.
