Otto Weisser, 84, Hardin, Mont., died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2007, at Heritage Acres Nursing Home, Hardin.

Mr. Weisser was born June 12, 1923, in Jamestown, N.D. He grew up and received his education in Streeter, N.D.

He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served during World War II before receiving his honorable discharge.

He married Leona Lang on July 25, 1947, in Gackle, N.D. They moved to Hardin in 1954, where he worked for Reil Engineering for several years as a surveyor and the City of Hardin. He retired in 1984. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, gardening, tending his yard and making fishing rods.

He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Sandy (Jerry) Redding, Utah, Patti (David) Schaff, Hardin, and Wanda (Richard) Quest, Oregon; two sons, Wayne (Rebecca), Washington, and Keith (Marietta), Virginia; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Services: held Aug. 30, Bullis Funeral Chapel, Hardin. Arrangements by Bullis Mortuary, Hardin.

Burial: Fairview Cemetery, Hardin, with military honors.
