Mollie was was a member of First Good Samaritan AME Zion Church. She was employed by the Erie School District, as a crossing guard, for 22 years, as a Nurse's Aide for UPMC Hamot for ten years, and for Healthsouth Lake Erie Institute of Rehabilitation for five years. Mollie enjoyed basketball games and old western movies.
Besides her parents, Mollie was preceded in death by her husband David Charles Cook, two brothers, Hargest and R.P. McCullum.
Survivors include two sons, Dallas and David Cook Jr., both of Erie, a daughter Cindy (Albert) Williamson of Erie, two brothers, Taree McCullum of Taylorville, Miss. and L.C. McCullum of Laurel, Miss., a sister Polly Ann Dean of Soso, Miss., seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery.
