MADISONVILLE, Ky. (3/24/14) — Marie Fuller, 94, of Madisonville, Ky., passed away Saturday, March 23, 2014 at NHC in Madisonville.
She was born Jan. 13, 1920 in San Marcos, Texas to the late Jesse Bruton and Mattie Agnes Campbell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Max Madison Fuller in 1996, one son, Edward Keith Fuller, two brothers, Jesse Bruton and Clarence Bruton and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Bruton Adcock.
Fuller was a retired school teacher. She was a member of the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association, a member of Kappa Lamba Kappa in College, and a member of First Baptist Church. She loved doing ceramics.
She is survived by two sons, Gary Gene Fuller of Nashville, T and Dale Lynn Fuller of Anton, Ky. one brother, Billy Bruton of Fort Worth, Texas, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Hughlan P. Richey officiating. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2014 and after 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
