Thomas McCollough was the oldest child of Moses Morris McCollough and Mary Ellen Freed. It is said he was born in Washington, Ind. He married Luvicey Bays on April 2, 1836 and they had 10 children. We have not been able to find the graves of Thomas and Luvicey and cannot find stones for them. A grandson told me that Thomas had gone to the gold fields and never came back. Their children are buried in Liberty Cemetery and in Oklahoma. I am putting this on so that the family will have some history for them. If anyone knows where they are buried please tell me or some of the McCollough family.
