He was born May 23, 1935 in Hocking County, son of the late, William L. and Bertha J. (Johnson) Wahl. Don was married to Mary (Miller) Wahl, who survives.
He retired from GTE.
Don is survived by his sons, Michael (Candy) Wahl, Randall (Paula) Wahl, Kendall (Theresa) Wahl and Lendell (Laura) Wahl, all of Logan; daughters, Dona (Gary) Ford of Athens, Ohio and Joana Mosack of Marysville, Ohio; grandchildren, Ryan, Seth, Levi, Jereamy, Justin, Calla, James, Tyler, Leah, Alyssa, Michaela and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Brooke, Cassidy, Brock, Madison and Michael; a brother, James (Betty) Wahl of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; and sisters, Vivian Wahl, Opal McKIinley, Rosemary Bourne, all of Logan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kelly Duncan; brothers, Harry, Dave, Josh, John, Dale and Charles Wahl; sisters, Goldie Amnah and Thelma Wahl.
Don's wishes were to be Cremated. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday March 9, 2013 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 East Second Street, Logan with Steve Wahl officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
