Michael Lynn Laney, 40, of Muldrow passed away Friday, March 21, 2014, in Muldrow. He was born Nov. 9, 1973, in Kenderville, Ind., the son of William Henry Laney Jr. and Sharon Darlene (Collier) Williams. He worked in construction and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors are two daughters, Courtney Darlene Laney-Hamby of Muldrow and Hannah Marie Laney of Muldrow; his mother, Sharon Williams and husband Ronnie of Muldrow; two brothers, Larry Laney of Muldrow and Billy Laney of Van Buren; uncle, Carl Collier of Muldrow; and several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Otis and Lucille Collier and William Henry and Ollie Laney. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Muldrow. Active pallbearers will be Steven Oxford, Cody Adams, Brayson Laney, Jamie Hughes, Tom Neal, Billy Laney, Michael Riggs and Ronnie Pedon. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Webster and Larry Laney.
