Mrs. Loretta E. Porter, 46, of West Valley Road, Lake Placid died Saturday evening, Dec. 3, 1983, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Willsboro on December 24, 1936, the daughter of LaVerne and Blanche (Carter) Bober. Survivors include her husband Kenneth T. Porter of Lake Placid; her mother, Mrs. Blanche Bober of Willsboro; one son, Steve Porter of Lake Placid; three daughters, Mrs. Cindy Conway, Miss Jo Anne Porter and Miss Rebecca Porter, all of Lake Placid; one sister, Mrs. Joyce Shaw of Keeseville; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 am at the funeral home with Pastor Skip Trembley of the First Assembly of God Church in Plattsburgh officiating. Burial will be in the North Elba Cemetery in Lake Placid.
