He was born Aug. 30, 1908 near Clifton and lived in this area all his life. He moved into Clifton in 1971 having resided prior to that on the family farm south of Clifton.
He was a member of the Faith United Presbyterian Church, Clifton and BPOE of Clay Center, Kansas.
His is survived by one sister; Mrs. Anna Clevenger (Charles), Clifton; and two brothers, Fritz, Clay Center and Edward, Clifton.
His parents, three sisters and one brother preceded him in death.
Services will be at the Faith United Church Presbyterian Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Charles Carson officiating
Interment will be in Riverdale Cemetery south of Clifton.
