A mortuary notice for Minnie E Marsden appeared in the Monday, May 16, 1887 issue of the Sun newspaper in Baltimore, Maryland:

MARSDEN. On May 14, 1887, MINNIE E., eldest daughter of Elizabeth A. and the late Elias Marsden. Funeral services at Trinity M.E. Church South, this (Monday) afternoon, at two o'clock.

The sexton of Loudon Park Cemetery, in reply to a 1976 inquiry, noted "Mary E. Marsden buried in Lot 52, Section J in 1887."
