He was predeceased by his brother Benjamin Haycock and by his sister Pearl Coker.
Reg served in World War II from 1939 to 1945. He returned home to Northern Ontario, eventually to North Bay where he became a Stationery Engineer. He married Agnes Couroux. They moved to Listowel in 1964 where he worked at Midwestern Regional Centre.
He belonged to the Oddfellows, the Orange Lodge, the Royal Canadian Legion, and Christ Anglican Church.
Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Thursday, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm.
Funeral service will be held at Eaton Funeral Home on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 11:00 am. Rev. Ralph Dwarika officiating.
Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel, Ontario.
