Reg Haycock ~ At Caressant Care on Monday, October 19, 2009, Mr. Arthur Reginald Haycock of Listowel, in his 90th year. Husband of the late Agnes Haycock. Lovingly remembered by his son Stan Haycock of Listowel and by Cindy Bellamy of Owen Sound.
He was predeceased by his brother Benjamin Haycock and by his sister Pearl Coker.
Reg served in World War II from 1939 to 1945. He returned home to Northern Ontario, eventually to North Bay where he became a Stationery Engineer. He married Agnes Couroux. They moved to Listowel in 1964 where he worked at Midwestern Regional Centre.
He belonged to the Oddfellows, the Orange Lodge, the Royal Canadian Legion, and Christ Anglican Church.
Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Thursday, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm.
Funeral service will be held at Eaton Funeral Home on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 11:00 am. Rev. Ralph Dwarika officiating.
Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel, Ontario.
