Age 91, he served as a ranger in the US Army during WWII. He worked at Zurn Industries for 33 years, retiring in 1976 and was a member of the Zukor Club.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Angeline Fargiorgio Ross; two daughters, Concetta M. Vetera and her husband, Robert of Seagrove, N.C. and Grace R. Hollister and her husband, Thomas of Erie and one son, Joseph A. Ross and his wife, Debbie of McKean, Pa. He is also survived by three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
