Jeannie L. "Jean" Stevens, of Denver, Colorado passed away after a brief battle with cancer on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the Christian Homes Care Community, Holdrege, Nebraska. Jean was born on June 21, 1956 in Yuma, Colorado, the second of five children born to Patrick and Mary Ann (Colpitts) Stevens.

Jean received her primary education at Wray (CO.) Elementary School and graduated from Wray (CO.)High School with the class of 1974. She pursued higher education from Northeastern Junior College, Sterling, Colorado and from Colorado College, Colorado Springs, Colorado, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 1978.

Jean was employed by Beech Aircraft, Wichita, Kansas and Jeppesen Sanderson Aviation Mapping in Colorado. She has worked as an independent realtor in the Denver, Colorado area for the last 20 years.

Jean enjoyed traveling with friends and helping pursue the interests of her clients. She attended West Bowles Community Church, Littleton, Colorado.

On March 17, 1988, she was married to Doug Hibbard in Northglenn, Colorado.

Jean was preceded in death by: parents, grandparents, F.K. and Pearlie Colpitts and older sister, Gayla Enquist.

Memorial Services for Jean Stevens were held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, Akron, Colorado with Reverend Susan Spenceras officiator.
