Wanda Leonard, 62, of Bristol, Tennessee passed away Thursday, March 21, 2014 at Appalachian Christian Village in Johnson City, Tennessee after a long battle with cancer.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Ginger Elizabeth Parks; and father, Walter Leonard.

Wanda lived in Alaska for 15 years where she managed a convenience store. She loved her grandchildren and was devoted to caring for them after the passing of her daughter. She was an animal lover and also enjoyed working on crafts.

She is survived by her mother, Annie Elizabeth Gregory Leonard Murray; son, Brian Swiney and wife Tiffany; grandchildren, Megan Elizabeth Durham, Hanna Elizabeth Maupin, and Ellie Elizabeth Parks; brother, Kenneth Leonard and wife Cindy; sisters, Brenda Bennett, and Barbara Ann Quales and husband Herbert; special friend, Marsha King; and several nieces and nephews.
