Colie Will Starling Berryman, 93, of Fountain Hill, died Sunday, March 23, 2014 at the Bastrop Rehabilitation Hospital in Bastrop, Louisiana. Mrs. Berryman was a native of Tillar and a resident of Fountain Hill for most of her life. She was a homemaker and she retired from Ashley County Home Health. She was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church for 63 years; a member of the Woodmen of the World and she was an exceptional quilt maker.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gussie Berryman in 1976; a son, Paul Berryman in 2010; a great-granddaughter, Emmalee Sue Berryman; her parents, Charles and Ethel Winningham Starling; three sisters, Pauline Berwick, Bennevis Hartley and Virginia Pierce and three brothers, CT, Lester & Paul Laron Starling.

She is survived by two sons, LaRon Berryman and wife, Carolyn, of Fountain Hill and Charles Berryman and wife, Bettye, of Hamburg; two daughters, Lou Ella Burkhart of Prattsville and Linda Chaddick and husband, Tommy, of Hot Springs; a daughter-in-law, Laura Berryman of Fountain Hill; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 26, 2014 in the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Willie Thornhill and Bro. Elvin McDill officiating. Burial will be in the Flat Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers are Mike Berryman, Jason Berryman, Ronny Berryman, Jay Thomas, Johnny Dimas and Cody Berryman.
