Polly Jean Bowlin, of Keswick Road, Williamsburg, departed this life on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, at Baptist Health Corbin. She was 76 years, 4 months, and 29 days of age. She was born Aug. 12, 1937, in Whitley County, to the late King Blakley and Nannie Hamblin Blakley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl Bowlin and a son, Ronald Earl Bowlin. She was a member of Clearfork Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Randell Bowlin and his wife Connie, of Williamsburg; four grandchildren, Tiffany Jeffries (Cody), Tara Bowlin, Tyler Bowlin and Taylor Bowlin; two great-grandchildren, Lane Jeffries and Bella Jeffries; daughter-in-law, Cindy Bowlin, of Williamsburg; two sisters, Ethel Lawson, of Raleigh, N.C., and Dorothy Cotner, of Columbus, Ohio; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Woody Jackson officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Bowlin Cemetery on Red Hill in Williamsburg.
