Ryfka was the wife of Adolf Feuchtbaum and the mother of a daughter. They lived a comfortable and happy life in Vienna with Adolf working as a professional photographer. Once the Germans annexed Austria, the Jews became targets for theft and pillage. Adolf was arrested and taken to Dachau Concentration Camp and Ryfka and her daughter were forced out of their home and had to live in cramped quarters without food for the next deportation.
They were taken to Izbica, then Belzec Death Camp.
