Linda L. Jean, 66, of Bloomington passed away Friday, March 21, 2014 at Golden Living Center in Bloomington.

Born, September 6, 1947 in Charlestown, IN, she was the daughter of Paul and Gladys (Sciscoe) Jean. Linda was the Administrative Office Manager in Afro-American Studies at Indiana University for 40 years. She was a loving sister and aunt who enjoyed cross stitching and she was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Highland Village.

Survivors include one brother, Rex Jean of Bloomington, three nieces, Terri Bond of Bloomington, Kristin Hull (Rich) of Memphis, TN, Piper Hottell (Nathan) of Columbus and several great nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be 9:00-11:00am Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. in Bloomington. Funeral services will 11:00am Tuesday at The Funeral Chapel with Pastor Tom Rhodes officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.
