Stephen F. Potts, a lifetime resident of Southampton, passed away Monday, Oct. 21, 2013 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. He was 58.
Born in Mount Holly, he was a member of the NJ Farm Bureau, and former farmer who loved the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, and the time he could spend with his loving family.
He is survived by his parents, Frederick and Beatrice Potts; a longtime companion, Ivy Strickland; two children, Stephen F. Potts Jr. (Christina) of N.C., and Julia K. Potts; four grandchildren, Lilyanna, Keilee, Colton, Jaylyn; a sister, Terry Bodine (Roger); a niece, Aubrey Bodine; a nephew, Wayne Bodine; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Friday at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Florence. Friends and relatives may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123. Perinchief Chapels
