Funeral services for Mr. Lester Gene Ferguson will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 24, 2014 in Lake Cove Baptist Church with Reverend David Messer, Cody King and Harlon Hazelton officiating. Interment will follow in McCormick Cemetery, Turkey Creek under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mr. Ferguson, 49, originally of Lake Cove entered eternal rest on Saturday, March, 22, 2014 in Opelousas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Mildred Ferguson; two brothers, Larry Ferguson and Earl Ferguson and his grandmother, Ruth King.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his aunts and uncles, Berl and Maggie Clark, Huey and Melvie Johnson and Barbara King, all of Lake Cove and Leo and Kay Clark of Glenmora; two special friends, Annie Messer and Dorothy Ardoin, both of Lake Cove and a host of cousins.
