Olan Ray Hart, age 86, of 323 Major Street, Pendleton, SC passed away on March 22, 2014 at his residence. Born June 2, 1927, in Oconee County, SC, he was the son of the late Ernest Hart and the late Olive Martin Hart and the devoted husband of the late Viola Myrtle Hart

He is survived by two sons, Jerry Hart and his wife, Vicki, and Danny Hart and his wife, Cynthia; a daughter, Joyce H. Adams and her husband Bruce; two brothers, Willie Hart and Thamer Grant; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter. . He was the greatest father and grandfather anyone could ask for and had a heart of gold.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald Hart and Roger Hart; sisters, Ruby King, Mary Loftis, Margie Durham and Alma Grant; and two brothers, Otis Hart, and Dennis Hart.

A funeral service will be held at The McDougald Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, March 24, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Jimmy Cox. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens, Clemson, SC. The family will receive family and friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 23, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Family will be at the residence.

Flowers will be accepted. Memorials may also be made to Interim Hospice 2001 E Greenville St, Anderson, SC 29621 .
