"KEEGAN, ELLEN, MRS.
Mother of James Keegan, Mrs. Robert Morrison, Mrs. James Fitzgerald; Mother-in-law of Louise Kindsvogel Keegan
Died Dec 5, 1891
Age 63 Years
Ellen, whose cause of death was not given, died in Silverton. The funeral took place at St. Patrick church and high mass was celebrated. A very eloquent address was made by Father Pickl and the church was crowded with those who had come to pay their last respects. Many of Ellen's friends followed her remains to their last resting place at Hillside. Survivors of Mrs. Keegan were her daughters, Mrs. Robert Morrison and Mrs. James Fitzgerald, and her son, James Keegan.
Ellen shares a tombstone with her daughter-in-law, Louise Kindsvogel Keegan, and her baby. Louise died in childbirth shortly before Ellen's own death. Inscribed on their marker is: 'May they rest in peace with thee Our Father who art in heaven Hallowed be thy name Thy kingdom come, thy will be done On earth as it is in heaven.'"
