Slated Sunday

BINGHAM—Glen C. Ivie, 21-year-old Seventh infantry private stationed at Vancouver, Wash., died from injuries inflicted by an automobile Monday, it was learned by his family Thursday.

According to meager details received, Sheriff Leland Morrow of Vancouver said that Ivie walked into the path of a car driven by Walter A. Fleetwood of Vancouver. Mr. Fleetwood was not held.

Born March 31, 1919, the son of Alton and Allene Dickman Ivie, the youth attended Bingham high school and worked for the Utah Copper company for two years before enlisting in the army.

Surviving besides his parents are four brothers, Bert Alton, Robert, Max and Keith Ivie; a sister, Alice Ivie, all of Bingham, and three grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ivie of Greenriver, Utah, and Mrs. Henry Dickman of Woodside, Utah.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 1:30 p. m. in the Bingham L. D. S. ward cha-pel, by Bishop David C. Lyon. Burial will be in Murray City cemetery.

Friends may call Saturday afternoon and Sunday, prior to services, at the Bingham mortuary.
