Bonnie Sue Hendrix 94, formally from Duncan, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014 in Stillwater, OK.

Bonnie was born April 9, 1919 in Fredrick, OK to Luster Maynard and Cora Alice Roark. She lived most of her life in Duncan. Bonnie Sue, first and foremost, loved her family beyond measure. Her legacy will live on through the unconditional and equal love she showed for her children and grandchildren. She showed this love through the generosity of her time and talents; which included, cooking, sewing, and gardening. She was well-known for her canning, quilting, and yeast rolls. But most importantly, her love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, was apparent in everything she did. She was truly a good and faithful servant.

Bonnie Sue was also known for her incredible work ethic. She was a homemaker, worked for Halliburton for 20 years, from 1954-1974, and served as a nurse's aide from 1974-2005.
On March 22, 1975 she married the love of her life, James Robert Hendrix, and moved to Non, Oklahoma where they farmed and owned Midway Grocery. After Robert passed away, she returned to Duncan where she continued to serve and care for others for many years.

Survivors include her sons Bruce Dixon of Lindsay, OK, Sonny Dixon and son-in-law Jimmy Robinson of Duncan. Grandchildren; Bo Robinson, Danny Robinson, Rana Patterson, Jeff Robinson, Bobby Dixon, Shelly Pack, all of Duncan, Angie O'Daniel of Stillwater and Hollie Mayfield of Tulsa, 20 great children and 15 great great grandchildren.

Bonnie Sue was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Hendrix, her daughter Beverly Robinson, her sisters Melvina Young and Pauline Solomon, three brothers Claud Roark, Harold Roark and Bill Roark, a granddaughter Laura Moore and a great grandson Chris Robinson.

Pallbearers will be Bo Robinson, Danny Robinson, Jeff Robinson, Jim O'Daniel, Chuck Mayfield and Ryan Sparks.
