Scott C. Hyde Dies In San Francisco After Being Afflictd Three Weeks
LODI (San Joaquin Co.). December 16.--The burial here to-day of Scott C. Hyde, 25, who died in San Francisco Sunday, marked the end of another victim of "sleeping sickness" following influenza.
For three weeks, Hyde, a native of Phoenix, Arizona, and son of Dr. E.C. Hyder, San Francisco dentist, was afflicted with the sleeping sickness. A week ago he apparently awakened only to pass away.
The young man formerly attended the Lodi High School.
