Carrie Rea Harper, passed away at 6:18 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at St. Joseph Carpenter House. She was 66. A native of New Orleans, she lived in Baton Rouge and was a retired caretaker and homemaker.
Services will be held in Wilson-Wooddale Funeral Home. The Rev. Lionel Davis will officiate.
Survivors include 1 daughter, Amelia Herrera; 1 son, Richard Booker Jr.; 1 sister, Ann Alexander; 1 brother, John Alexander; and 4 grandchildren, Racheal, Ronald, Rea and Frank Jr.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Harper; father Enoch Alexander; and mother, Amelia Alexander.
