In January 2007, Robert Demary was charged with the crime and a warrant issued for his arrest. Demary had been a suspect at the the time of the murder and was interviewed by police then. Unfortunately, the Cook County Illinois Medical Examiner's office reported that Robert Demary died in 2003 due to alcohol and drug overdoses.
