Mr. Johnny Herman Ferguson, of Cincinnati, Ohio formerly of Grant County, KY. passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014 at the Silverton Pointe Nursing Home in Cincinnati, OH. at the age of 82. Herman was born on September 24, 1931 in Manchester, KY. to the late Gilbert and Dora Howard Ferguson. Herman worked as a farmer and was known in Grant County for building several homes. Herman enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. Herman was a member of the Sherman Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, Herman was preceded in death by a daughter: Melissa Floyd, 10 brothers and sisters and a beloved Jolene Ferguson.

Herman leaves to mourn his passing, 3 daughters: Darlene Johnson of Dry Ridge, KY, Kim Parr of Corinth, KY and Madeleine Walker of Georgetown, KY; 2 sons: Johnny Ferguson of Corinth, KY. and Greg Stubbs of Cynthiana, KY. 1 sister: Flora Lee Melton of Dry Ridge, KY. Herman also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Herman will be conducted 12:30 pm Friday, March 7 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home with Bro. Scotty Simpson officiating. Burial will take place in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the funeral hour on Friday at the funeral home.
