Sharon N. Spencer

CUBA - Sharon N. Spencer, of 3837 Witter Road, Cuba, passed away Sunday (March 16, 2014) at home after a long fight with cancer.

Born on Dec. 19, 1939, Sharon was a daughter of the late Raymond Boser and Nancy Rickicki. On Aug. 19, 1995, she married her soulmate and love of her life, Clifton F. Spencer, who survives.

Sharon was a 1957 graduate of Richburg Central School. She retired from ACME Electric Corp. after 41 years of service, during which time she held many positions, the last one being warehouse coordinator.

Sharon was a past member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Olean, during which time she served as congregational secretary, financial secretary and a member of the Ruth Guild. For the past 20 years, Sharon has been a member of the Haskell Valley Church.

On Aug. 19, 2005, Sharon and her husband, Cliff, renewed their wedding vows in Haskell Valley Church.

Sharon enjoyed reading, crocheting and going fishing and camping with her husband. Most of all, she enjoyed being outdoors, walking in the woods and sitting on the dock while watching fish swim in their pond.

In addition to her loving husband, Cliff, Sharon is survived by three brothers, Roy Boser of Houston, Dominic (Julie) Rickicki of Richburg and Van (Victoria) Rickicki of Nennan, Ga.; and one sister, Tammy (Bill) McMahon of Machias.
She also leaves behind a loving dog, Toby,

Sharon was predeceased by her first husband, Hugh Lawton, who was the father of her children; and her daughters, Elizabeth Lawton Todd and Vanessa Warner.

She also had a beloved late dog, CoCo.

Burial will be at Allegany Cemetery.
