The funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Bonnetsville Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Donald Massey officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Tabernacle Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Salemburg.
Mr. Knowles was born on August 14, 1956 in Sampson County to the late Fermon and Elizabeth Ann Faircloth Knowles. He is preceded in death by: his parents; and one brother, Tony Knowles. He was a retired carpenter.
He is survived by: one daughter, Ryan Cribbs and husband, Robert of Salemburg; four grandchildren, Kali, Emma, Emmett and Aaron; and one brother, Elton Knowles of Salemburg.
The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Bonnetsville Church of God of Prophecy, 3497 Roseboro Highway, Clinton, and other times at the home.
