Mr. Floyd James Pierce, age 40, of Rosemont, WV passed away at his home with his family by his side after a brief illness.

He was born on February 6, 1974 in Punxsutawney, PA a son to Jerry and Anna Mae Waltman Pierce. He was a cook at the Wonder Bar restaurant, loved fishing, painting, being outdoors, was a great artist, and consider by all to be a "jack of all trades."

He is survived by his loving wife, Jenny Bays Pierce whom he married on August 8, 2004; son, James Floyd Pierce; parents, Jerry and Anna Mae Pierce; several brothers and sisters; mother and father-in-law, Cathey and Mike Davis; brother-in-law, Gordon Bays; loving aunt, Carol Wells; special niece, Makaila Bays; crew of Wonder Bar and manager, Susie Mellie, and special friend, Melodie Nichols, McNemar family, and best friend Angela Crogg, along with several cousins.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 23, 2014 from 11:00am-8:00pm and again on Monday from 9:00am until the hour of service 1:00pm at the Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Avenue, Grafton. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1:00pm at the Bartlett Funeral Home with Rev. Lois Sandy, presiding. Interment will follow at the Simpson Cemetery in Taylor County.
