Lisa Kristine Porter, 54, of Lake of the Woods, Locust Grove, Va, passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 5, 2013. She is survived by her husband, son, daughter, and four grandchildren, two brothers and a sister. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Gitel Laremore.
Lisa served honorably in the United States Army: 7 February 1978 – 6 February 1982. Upon completing her Military Service, Lisa entered Civil Service and worked as a Financial Management Specialist for 34 years with the U.S. Army and Department of Defense. Her hobbies include: Arts & Crafts, Sewing, Crocheting, Reading, Traveling, Collecting Longaberger Baskets and Swarovski Crystal figurines and spending time with family and friends.
