Georgia Lamb Fletcher, 81, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2014. She was born in Morris, Illinois, to the late Roy and Freddie Lamb. She was an active member of Haygood United Methodist Church.
Left to cherish Georgia's memory are her loving husband of 61 years, James N. Fletcher; four daughters, Victoria Jane Hensley and husband Jack, Christine Fletcher Webb and husband Richard, Julia Fletcher Johnston and husband Mark, and Amy Elizabeth Sandoval and husband Steve; three grandchildren, Rachel Hensley, Travis Hensley and Olivia Sandoval.
The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel on Friday, March 21, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Haygood United Methodist Church by Pastor Lisa Nordan and CH (LTC) Mark R. Johnston. Interment will be in Sugar Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Marion, KY. Memorial contributions may be made to Haygood United Methodist Church or Virginia Beach SPCA.
