Donald Eugene Hinckley, 62, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at his home of natural causes. He was the son of Raymond Adair and Elsie Mae (Slusser) Hinckley. The family moved to Douglas, arriving on July 28, 1955. Don was raised and educated in Douglas. He worked in the oil fields and worked construction as a truck driver. He was married to Pat Rowe and to this union a son, Jimmy, was born. They later divorced. He was married to Mina Hinrich and to this union a son, Donald, was born. They later divorced. He is survived by his sons, Jimmy Hinckley, of Fargo, N.D., and Donald "Punk" Shaw of Douglas; sister Millie Kennedy of Douglas; brother Joe Hinckley of Douglas; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond, on Sept. 12, 1973; his mother, Elsie, on March 31, 1966; brothers Jimmey Hinckley on Nov. 4, 1985; and Leroy Hinckley, on Aug. 7, 2005; sister Jenny Lee Clausen on Dec. 7, 1995; niece Corinna Morrow on March 27, 2010; and nephew Perry Clausen on Dec. 28, 2000.
