Ron was born in Buncombe County to Dianna Braddock and the late Ronald Eugene Youngblood, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Al Braddock; two grandfathers, JC Massey and Billy Youngblood and his grandmother, Betty Youngblood.
Ron was a member of Skyland First Baptist Church. He graduated from T.C. Roberson High School and also Mayland Community College with a degree in Heating and Cooling.
He is survived by his mother, Dianna Braddock; sisters, Tracey Millar (Brett) of Fletcher, Michelle Maynor (Teddy) of Asheville and Cheri Wheeler (James) of McKinney, TX; a brother, Mitchell Braddock (Jen) of Ramstein AFB, Germany; his grandmother, Mildred Massey; two aunts, Betsy Frady (Ronnie) and Cathey Trimnal and his uncle Jerry Massey (Cyndi) and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 23, 2014 in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian with Pastor David Honeycutt and Pastor Joe Horrell officiating. Interment will follow at Shepherd Memorial Park.
