Tommy Joe Firkins 62 of Glasgow died Thursday, March 20, 2014 at the U of L Hospital in Louisville. The Glasgow native was the son of the late Luther Willard Firkins and Mary Alice Pedigo Firkins. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife and friend Donita Francis Firkins. Tommy was an employee of the City of Glasgow and was recently retired. He was also serving as a Barren County constable. He attended Highland Hills Community Church in Glasgow.

He is survived by his brother Donnie Firkins and wife Sandy of Bowling Green; a step-son Michael Goodman of Chicago; his caretaker and companion Barbara Ramey of Glasgow; special friend Tim Cash of Glasgow and his nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2pm Monday, March 24th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1pm Sunday.
