She was employed for 30 years by Stump's Meat Market, Mount Penn, retiring as manager. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Mount Penn. McDevitt is survived by one son, Terrence P., Indian Head Park, Ill. She is also survived by one sister, Pearl (Adam) Bowen, Linstead; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale.
